Mr. Niekamp assists on various sell-side and buy-side engagements, fairness opinions, recapitalizations and financial advisory assignments across manufacturing, retailing, service and energy-related industries. Clients he has served include Summit Partners’ portfolio company Eyeglass World, LLC, in its sale to Berkshire Partners’ portfolio company, National Vision Inc. and Partners in Plastics, Inc. in its sale to Austin Capital Partners, L.P.

Prior to joining Western Reserve Partners, he interned with the firm from January through May 2007. Following this internship, Mr. Niekamp worked with Huron Consulting Group, an operational and management consulting firm. He has also served in a wide variety of “hands-on” metalworking manufacturing positions at Dynamic Weld Corporation.

While a student at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Mr. Niekamp was the Managing Director of the Miami University Investment Banking Club. He also was the Chief Executive Officer of First Miami Student Credit Union. Through the Credit Union, he spoke at numerous engagements regarding Generation Y and the credit union industry.

Mr. Niekamp was graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business from the Richard T. Farmer School of Business at Miami University with majors in Finance and Decision Sciences. For his contributions to the Credit Union, he was awarded a Senior Leadership award from the Business School. He is also a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Society. Mr. Niekamp is a Friend of the Achievement Centers for Children and serves as Treasurer of the Board of Directors for First Miami Student Credit Union. Mr. Niekamp is an avid baseball fan, dividing his allegiance between the Cleveland Indians and the Chicago Cubs.
