Mr. White has over fourteen years of investment banking and financial advisory experience, including work on sell-side and buy-side mergers and acquisitions, corporate divestitures, leveraged finance transactions, fairness opinions, initial and secondary public offerings, private placements, private equity fundraises and general financial advisory services in a wide variety of industry sectors.
Prior to joining Western Reserve Partners, Mr. White served in several positions within Citigroup’s investment banking department, including as head of Mid-Cap M&A in Citi’s New York office and as a Director in Citi’s Private Equity Funds Group in New York and in its financial sponsors coverage group in both London and New York. He began his investment banking career at Wertheim Schroder & Co., an investment banking firm in New York focused on middle-market companies (later acquired by Citi). Mr. White is focused primarily on middle-market mergers and acquisitions and capital raising assignments in a wide range of industry sectors and on situations involving private equity sponsors. Representative transactions include the sale of McDonald Corp.’s Boston Market subsidiary to Sun Capital Partners, the sale of Esselte’s Dymo division to Newell Rubbermaid and the sale of Champion Exposition Services to Wachovia Capital Partners, as well as recent fundraising assignments for a number of private equity firms. Mr. White’s educational background includes an A.B. in Economics from Princeton University (magna cum laude) in 1990 and a J.D. from the Harvard Law School (cum laude) in 1996. He is a member of the New York Bar (inactive) and works locally as a volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America. He is an avid traveler, having lived in France, Korea, and the United Kingdom, and speaks French. |
