On November 27, 2006, Managing Director David Powlen was one of four presenters for a Valuation Workshop which was the opening session of a two-day Distressed Investing conference held in New York City sponsored by Beard Group and Renaissance American Management. The panel addressed various factors affecting the valuation of companies in the automotive industry, reviewed Delphi Corporation’s Chapter 11 reorganization case, and examined various actual and potential claims running between Delphi and General Motors Corporation.
