Managing Director David Powlen Becomes Education Director for the Investment Banking Committee of the American Bankruptcy Institute

It was announced during the Annual Spring Meeting of the American Bankruptcy Institute held in Washington, D.C., April 3-6, 2008, that David Powlen has been appointed as Education Director for the Investment Banking Committee of the ABI. The ABI is the largest multi-disciplinary organization in the United States focused on restructuring and bankruptcy matters, with over 10,000 members including judges, professors, attorneys, and financial advisors. The Investment Banking Committee studies and reports on the role played by investment bankers in the process of corporate renewal and restructuring, and is responsible for presenting at least two programs each year during the Annual Spring and the Winter Leadership meetings of the ABI.
