Crain’s Cleveland Business Article Entitled “Sale in Bankruptcy Provides Protections, Challenges” Includes Quotes from Managing Director David Powlen

Managing Director David Powlen was quoted in an article appearing in a Special Supplement to the March 26, 2007, issue of Crain’s Cleveland Business which was sponsored by the Turnaround Management Association of Ohio. The article was entitled “Sale in Bankruptcy Provides Protections, Challenges.” In describing the trade-off between time and possible sale price which a company in a Chapter 11 case might face, Mr. Powlen stated, “How much time it might be before the seller may lose a substantial portion of its customers, suppliers or employees, or end up with significantly weaker operations, revenues or working capital, will greatly influence the length and breadth of the marketing and sale process.”
