Analyst

Analysts at Western Reserve Partners are entrusted with a high level of responsibility as important contributors to every transaction team. Our Analysts not only work with Associates and Vice Presidents in the preparation of presentation materials, but also interact with senior bankers and clients through their participation in meetings. In other words, our Analysts have the opportunity to experience all aspects of "the deal", from the new business presentation in the beginning to the final negotiations at the close.

As the analytical anchor for the transaction team, Analysts at Western Reserve Partners are typically responsible for conducting research on various markets and industries, assisting in performing detailed client due diligence and assisting in the preparation of all client and pitch presentations. He or she is also responsible for completing and ensuring the accuracy and quality of the financial modeling necessary to analyze the operating and financial performance of companies. The Analyst is also expected to be prepared to interpret the modeling results, pose questions and draw conclusions from their analysis. At Western Reserve Partners, the Analyst is expected to work on a variety of assignments as part of numerous transaction teams, and as such, has a unique opportunity to develop a broad range of execution skills and industry knowledge.

Western Reserve Partners fosters an environment that rewards initiative and allows Analysts to develop as quickly as they are capable. Analysts who perform at an accelerated pace may be entrusted with such responsibilities as assisting Associates and Vice Presidents in the authoring of offering materials, marketing transactions to potential acquirers and the participation in client presentations. Analysts who perform at a superior level for three years may also have an opportunity to remain at Western Reserve Partners and be promoted to Associate.
